The 2026/27 Premier League fixtures are officially here! The season kicks off on August 21st, and we’ve got all the essential details on key dates, opening weekend highlights, and how to plan your early FPL squad. The wait is over! The Premier League has officially released the 2026/27 fixture list today (Friday, June 19th).

The new season kicks off on Friday, 21 August 2026 and runs until Sunday, 30 May 2027.


Key Season Dates

  • Opening Weekend: Friday 21 – Tuesday 25 August 2026
  • Final Matchday: Sunday 30 May 2027 (all games simultaneous)
  • First International Break: Early September (TBC)
  • Boxing Day Fixtures: Thursday 26 December 2026

Here are some notable matches from Matchweek 1:

  • Arsenal (Champions) start with a home game against Coventry City
